It is getting a tad easier. Just a tad. lol I'm coming up with ways to give things away using our local free cycle group. I'm finding that negative things stay on my tongue longer before being spit out. i am so much more AWARE of the things i am doing ... most of the time. I find that putting off the last Bible reading and prayer time too long is not good. Right before bed is not a good time. I get too tired. I'm learning about me. I'm also reading in the O.T. right now and reading the rules that they had to follow - and how harsh the judgements were .. often as warnings for others. I see how the downfall in our own society has happened - and it saddens me. So far then, awareness is the lesson. That and discipline. I'm starting to enjoy the study time and prayer time - 15 minute prayer time seems long - and sometimes it is ... but other times, I am surprised when the timer goes off and my time is up. Sometimes go over .... I'm kinda thinking that once you start this, you don't ever really stop once it "gets" you ... Maybe that is part of the miracle too. If anyone else is doing this - I encourage you to keep going. It's much harder than I thought - but the rewards are starting to show. My poor brain has forgotten what day I am on now ... but I will be done on Christmas Eve ... THAT much I remember. I CAN do this ....

QuietSoul: I have just read your testimony, and I want to say to you, Keep up the good work. I will be 63 years old on Christmas day and I find new things to be thankful for, every day. Just look onward and you will see what the Lord has done for you. Each moment there is something good to see. Yes, it does seem that this world is getting worse each day, but just think about what is ahead, streets of gold, gates of pearl, no more tears or sorrow and as an old song says, "Won't it be wonderful there?". We can make the things in this world good, just by finding the good in things and in people around us. My husband always says, when he first gets up each morning, "well it is a new day and I just took a breath that God gave me." You don't have to look for Him or strugle to find Him, He has already found you. I am the daughter of a minister and I grew up knowing that God's love is always all around me, and it is you too. Again, you don't have to look for it, because it is always there. Our God is a loving God, He isn't just there to dish out judgements, as you read in the Old Testament, before He sent His son, Jesus, as Jesus shed his blood to atone for our wrongs. He is a loving God and that is what we need to know, first and foremost, He loves us, just because we are His children. If my earthly father loved me so very much, how much more will my heavenly father love me, and want to give me peace and good things in my life? I could see that you are having a little bit of a rough time, but just keep on keeping on. Thanks for reading my post and I hope it may help you in your walk with the Lord. I do think that He places people in our paths to uplift and help us, as I just happened to find 40day.com a few days ago, signed up and started reading the posts. I need to be uplifted at times, just as everyone else does. Wink blondie1943

Good Morning: I guess I must have misunderstood this site. I posted a message about my walk with God and everyone else is posting about pills and many other things. As I read this, I believe that it must be for other things. I will not be posting here anymore, as it is good to talk about everyone's walk and try and help them or have them help me, but I see this is not the case here. It is used for advertising and other things instead of what I believed that it was intended for. Thanks. Sad Question
